A slight delay

Captain's Log: 25 June, 2014; Hour: 1403

We were all prepared to shove off today when we discovered a problem with the governor on the generator. It doesn't affect the operation of the boat but it does present a problem in what kinds of electrical equipment we can operate if we decide to anchor. The mechanics are working on that.

If all goes well this afternoon we will leave first thing tomorrow morning.

  1. Good Luck as you start your journey. I thought of a name for the boat.

    1. It always sounds like they are saying "dancing in the boof" to me. I always wonder and laugh.

  2. That's boating for you... always a little something going wrong. Good luck on your trip. We think its a cool thing you are doing. My wife and I have been boating for 4 years now and have a 14 x 52 cabin yacht.

  3. What's the acronym for B.O.A.T. again? Break out another thousand? Sounds accurate now.

  4. Please be safe Phil. I am so glad you finally got your boat. I have ben listening to you for so long and I have heard you talk about looking at boats in magazines and how Susan was against it. LOL. I am happy for you and I hope things get into order so you can sail off in the morning.

    1. Boat name: Extry Good...I know lame. My husband thinks you should name it the Bee-otch. I will not elaborate. You can use your imagination. :/

  6. Yesterday... All my troubles seemed so far away. Now it looks as though they're here to stay. I bought a boat named Yesterday.
I know it'll all work out. Have a great launch tomorrow. Take some pics!
